Abdication of St. Peter

Interaction with theater, both dramatic and music, is a sphere of special interest and love for ArtMix Studio. It is in the theater that digital art opportunities are revealed on a new scale. At the end of 2021, we elaborated a digital scenery for the ballet miniature “The Abdication of St. Peter” staged by choreographer Alexei Savunov. The plot is based on the Holy Scriptures, and tells about the a triple abdication of the Apostle from his Master. It was predicted by Jesus during the Last Supper.

The premiere of “Abdication of St. Peter” took place in St. Petersburg on the stage of the Hermitage Theater on December 28, 2021.

Developing the idea of the production design, we turned to the theme of the Holy Trinity. The Teacher’s rejection, prayer and catharsis were combined in a media painting created by our artist Morgan Korolkov.
